TThe Diagnostic imaging department is located inside Holdenville General Hospital. Our X-Ray equipment is made by General Electric and was installed new in 2002. We just recently upgraded the image capture equipment with Care Stream digital. We are able to view an image in less than five seconds after the exposure. The radiation used to acquire images has been reduced due to the digital format used here at HGH. Images are transferred to our new PACS system for image storage, retrieval, and transmittal. We have the ability to grant access to view the images to any physician around the world. Any computer with internet access is able to view the images. After your images are obtained they are transferred to our board certified Radiologist for interpretation. After your exam has been dictated and transcribed it is signed and faxed to back to us. We will then fax the report to the referring physician for review and discussion with the patient.
