MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner is a 1.5T General Electric scanner. We have leased this scanner from Alliance Imaging. The scanner is here full time seven days a week. We operate the MRI between the hours of 9 am and 5pm Monday thru Friday. We also have the ability to scan patients on the weekends if it is absolutely necessary. The MRI scanner has special coils used to scan specific body parts including the shoulder, wrist/hand, knee, TMJ, femoral blood vessels, head, neck, C-spine, T-spine, L-spine, and torso. We can do all abdominal scans including the liver and pancreas. This form will be reviewed by the technologist to insure safety.
Please click the link to print off the general MRI questionnaire and bring it on the day of the exam. This is a two page form that must be filled out and signed prior to your scan. Filling this form our prior to arrival can speed up your wait time for a more efficient visit to our department. If you can’t print this out we can give you this form upon arrival at the admissions department. The exams are interpreted by the radiologist within the next 1-2 days. We will fax your results to the ordering physician.
